The Šumenjak Farm is located in Spodnji Jakobski Dol, where the family cultivates their vines. Along with winemaking, they distill liquor, are avid beekeepers and raise cattle.
Today, their products are present throughout Slovenia and abroad. The vineyards and other areas of the farm are strictly organic, using only plant-based preparations and natural fertilizers from their cattle. The main concern in wine production starts in the vineyards, where the idea is to let the microclimate, soil, and grapes do the work of the winemaker.
